Fluffy disappeared over a decade ago – now it has appeared an entire 220 miles away.
Norwegian Lena Devik’s cat disappeared 13 years ago.
Lena deeply missed Fluffy and searched for it for a long time. But when it did not show up, the owner reckoned the cat was dead.
It writes Norwegian TV 2.
But one Friday evening, the family from Fetsund near Oslo received a somewhat surprising call.
– It’s incredible! Animal Protection Kristiansand called me yesterday evening and asked if I had lost a cat. I was shocked and explained that I had lost a cat long ago, Lena Devik tells the Norwegian media.
When she saw the pictures, she was in no doubt, and wrote this update on Facebook:
– I’m in shock and completely overwhelmed – is it possible, it is after seeing the pictures. Fluffy is found.

Fluffy is finally at home again
Animal Protection Kristiansand became aware of Fluffy after a woman found an abandoned cat in Søgne in southern Norway and took care of it for a few weeks. She then took it to a veterinarian, who found an ear tag.
To the great surprise of everybody involved, the cat’s owner lived a total of 220 miles away. Therefore, they had to check the numbers from the ear tag several times.
When they heard that the cat had been missing for 13 years, their astonishment only increased.
We have never heard of anything like this, says Arnfrid Robstad from Animal Protection Kristiansand to Norwegian TV 2.
The animal welfare service states that the cat seems a little thin but otherwise healthy and well. No one knows what Fluffy has been doing all these years. They are looking for information from people who have either encountered Fluffy or cared for it.
